Feeling much better today. And, as promised, I'm wearing a dress.




















I love these tights, they're really comfy, which is not something I usually equate with tights. They're also really soft. Yummy. Do I like them with this dress? I thought I did, but taking a second look at it, I'm not sure. I thought I liked the pop of color in a pretty neutral outfit, but it looks a little awkward in the pictures. And I definitely don't like the shoes. I wish I had some black flats, I think that would work really nicely. These were the flats that clashed the least with the tights.

Hey lovelies. Sorry I didn't post yesterday, I got caught up in about a trillion other things. To make up for it, I have yesterday's and Today's images, followed by a special peek into my creative genius.

First, yesterday was a reasonable enough day. Had a headache for most of the day, as usual, but my ad group talked to Dave and it actually looks like our budget is pretty safe. So that's good.





















I felt rather preppy in this outfit. It's alright. Not a miss, but definitely not like 100% awesome.

The whole outfit is from Old Navy. I really think they should be paying me for mentioning their name so often.








































This makeup reminds me a lot of rainbow sorbet.

Today, I was having a really shitty morning, which included ruining 3 rolls of film, thinking my bike was going to fall apart, finding out my bank account was overdrawn and many other adventures. However, after freaking out and thinking I was late to a meeting at 12 and rushing down there only to remember that the meeting was at 12:30, I rescheduled the interview and took an hour and a half to have lunch with Monet, KRob (awful alias!) and Nat (even worse) and then go home for a bit before work. By the time I left, I was calmed down and the kids at work were reasonable. I listened to "Forest Whitaker" by Brother Ali, which could put anyone in a fantastic mood, I'm pretty sure. After work I found out that Atmosphere is playing in Portland on May 12!!!!! Then I had my interview for study abroad in China (which I think I landed!) and that went really well. But then I got home and was doing fine until I got a stomach ache. I went to the bathroom and ended up in there for an hour! TMI, I know. But I kept flashing from hot to cold and back. I'm waiting for my stomach to stop feeling like it's going to explode before I head down to the Sigma benefit concert which I was supposed to be at an hour ago. However, I just found out that PHC VOTED FOR US TO GO NATIONAL!!!! FUCKING CHRIST!!!!!!! OMGOMGOMGOMG!!! This may not mean much to anyone who hasn't been listening to all of my inane ranting about it for over a year, but it is HUGE for Sigma. And as president, I'm at the head of it!!

So, anyway, today I wore:





















Don't really like it. The pants are too big, the shirt is too small. All Old Navy, of course.

I think I'm getting sick. I've been going back and forth between feeling well and feeling like curling up in a ball and dying for the last few days. Hopefully it'll pass and I won't be completely useless until after finals. I just feel so tired and achey...I think I'm going to lay around on my couch and watch tv.

However, I think I look pretty fucking awesome.





















I really wanted to wear clean pants today. These were the ones I found. But these pants don't fit super well, so I needed to wear a loose top. I happen to LOVE this top, but I had a really hard time figuring out how to wear it in the winter. I literally tried on 4 different long sleeved shirts underneath it before I found this shrug. I wasn't very fond of this shrug before today because it's kind of a weird length, but I really like it with this top. Yes, I'll take today as a win.

Today I got the joy and pleasure of asking my property management company for $250. I haven't gotten the final answer yet, but I get the feeling that it's not going to be the full amount. Sad, sad story.

All afternoon, I've been working on designing a website for a "client"--a soda company that one of my ad professors has connections with and is willing to let us make suggestions for ad campaigns. Pretty much like asking 8 ad agencies for consults and not having to pay for their time. Huh. But it gives me a chance to use the Dreamweaver I just installed on my computer today. Fucking Amazing.

Also, today is "badge day" which means that all Greeks should be wearing their letters. I know that at least one girl in my ad class was not, but I'm a good cog and wore a T-shirt today. Remember last night when I said I would explain how to do this with class? What I meant by that was how to wear letters and look like any other girl wearing letters. C'est la vie.





















The shirt was a gift from my lovely big sis. Funny story about these shoes. I needed a pair of white shoes for fall initiation and these were the only ones I could find at Old Navy. Originally, they had these crazy pompoms on the ends of the bows (there are bows on the shoes, I promise) and I was wearing capris, so I looked like an elf. It was actually very funny.

Sorry this post is so late today, lovelies. I'm just super popular and have been go, go, going all day! ...no, that's a lie. I just forgot to do it until just now. Ooops!

I had awful bed head when I got up this morning. I had totally forgotten that you actually have to deal with that when you have short hair. Can't just throw it back in a ponytail. My bangs were being ridiculously uncooperative, so I just clipped them back in the end. I didn't feel like dressing up today since all I was going to do was go to an ad meeting and e-board.





















I absolutely could not take a good picture tonight. I don't know what it was, but I'm either yawning or blinking or something else in all the other frames. Eventually, I gave up and went with the least disgusting.

Pro Longwear is the most amazing thing in my life. You put the color on and it never leaves. Seriously, I fell asleep with it on once and in the morning, it was still there. Not as vibrant, obviously, but it was for sure there. Love it. I need to buy more.
